Yoga

The Health Benefits of Yoga are Legendary

Yoga is a mixture of stretching, balance and strengthening poses on and off the mat, on the wall, or in a chair to assist in everyday functional activities. The positive health benefits include physical, emotional, neurological and spiritual, and the emphasis is moving and breathing as we honor our limitations with gratitude and thankfulness.  

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is known for being an effective stress reliever and comes with a long list of physical benefits. You can improve your overall health, enhance your quality of life, and have some fun while you’re at it.   SilverSneakers® and Prime Member approved.

Meditation & Gentle Stretching*

Come join this class once a week for simple, fluid meditative practices to add to your everyday life. this class will guide you through meditations for every day stress & anxiety and improve sleep and daily focus. Includes scriptures, prayers and gentle stretching.

Parent-Child Yoga*

Once a month, Lee Anne hosts this popular yoga class. It’s a great way to bond with your little ones while enjoying yoga together. The class includes breathing techniques, yoga poses, and movement games.  Grandparents and grandchildren, nieces and nephews are welcome to join, too!

  • Children ages 3-8 years old. 
  • Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult relative.
  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one; some mats are available.

Vinyasa (Flow Yoga) 

A series of movements and poses performed while linking them with our breath. Class begins with warm-up and finishes with a period of relaxation. Open to all levels, as options and modifications will be given throughout.

Yoga for the Back*

This low impact class includes movement, stretches, and poses to help relieve back pain and tension. The class will also introduce poses that can help strengthen areas of the body that support the spine in order to maintain a healthy spine and to prevent future back pain. yoga is known for being an effective stress reliever and comes with a long list of physical benefits. You can improve your overall health, enhance your quality of life, and have some fun while you’re at it. 

Yoga for Better Sleep*

Sleep is an essential part of our overall health and wellness, yet many of us experience poor sleep. Yoga is known for reducing stress and improving the quality of our sleep. Join us for a calming, nourishing yoga practice with slow flows, restorative poses, and calming breaths and meditations. Our hope is to create a space and practice for your bodies and minds to relax and to lead you toward a night of better sleep.

Fit Flow Yoga

This class focuses on building strength, stamina, and flexibility in the physical body.  It is appropriate for those new to Yoga as well as those with plenty of yoga experience – options and modifications are always offered.  Each class starts with a flowing series to warm up the spine and heat up the body, followed by a series of held postures to build strength, stability, and stamina.  Class ends with gentle stretches to improve flexibility. Designed to also meet your needs with any modifications for your body type.
